3 Reminders for Optimal Oral Care

Everyone has their own morning and night-time rituals for getting ready to go and getting ready to unwind. Taking care of your oral health should be at the top of that list!

Let's chat about our favorite ways to keep our teeth and gums healthy and happy.

1. Brushing: does more than make your breath *smell lovely*, a good TWO MINUTES (that's right, don't skimp) brushing makes your breath fresh by knocking out all the bacteria that's been having a blast eating your leftovers and forming plaque parties on your teeth (EW, but yes that's what the film on your teeth is). If that's not motivation well thennnnnnnn.

2. Flossing: mhmmmm, guess what? Your tooth brush doesn't get between your teeth but you know what does? FOOD. Guess what else gets in between your teeth with that food? BACTERIA. Same bacteria that forms plaque parties on your teeth has a blast sitting undisturbed munching away on all the tid-bits left behind and producing acid that makes lovely holes in your teeth, unless it is flossed away that is ;).

3.Mouthwash: last step to polish off your lovely routine, go ahead and rinse away any remaining debris and bacteria that you might have missed from the previous two steps.

*BONUS POINTS* for completing the whole routine and not having to lie to your dentist.
